Aquesta és probablement una de les places més boniques del barri històric de Sevilla. Es troba darrere de l'església de Sant Marc i al costat del monestir de Santa Isabel, del qual rep el nom.
Des d'un dels bancs i a l'ombra dels tarongers i magraners, podem admirar la bonica façana de Vandelvira de 1609 d'estil renaixentista, amb un relleu que representa la visita de la Mare de Déu a la seva cosina Santa Isabel .
A pocs passos d'aquesta plaça es pot visitar el Monestir de Santa Paula o simplement comprar algunes de les famoses i delicioses melmelades. Per cert, una de les més famoses és la melmelada de taronja amarga, sobre la qual hem publicat un interessant article aquí a sevillaenundia.com.
