La font es troba a la Place des Remparts , una petita plaça amagada als estrets carrers prop de la Ciutadella i del barri de La Ponche , al centre històric de Saint-Tropez.
S'accedeix per la Rue des Remparts , a dues passes de les antigues muralles de la ciutat.
El caràcter distintiu de la plaça resideix en el seu aire antic : una plaça acollidora amb una petita font , envoltada de façanes acolorides, galeries d'art i un ambient mediterrani. El disseny de la font complementa lʻestil urbanístic del segle XIX de lʻarquitectura de fonts local del poble.
