Delos és una de les illes més petites de les Cíclades a la mar Egea, a l'estret entre les illes de Rínia i Míkonos.
Delos és una illa petita d'uns 8 km de costa. L'única ciutat de l'illa fou Delos, avui dia un conjunt de ruïnes al nord-oest de l'illa. Un antic rierol anomenat Inopos es dirigia del mont Cintos al port de Furni. Tenia un petit estany prop de les ruïnes anomenat per Heròdot Limne Trochoeides i Theognis per Cal·límac. Prop del llac o del riu, la llegenda situa Leto en néixer Apol·lo i Àrtemis. Les antigues cases privades foren construïdes als dos costats del Cintos i a la punta de Trokessa al nord-oest.
