Cusano Mutri és un municipi italià de 4 028 habitants de la Província de Benevent a la Campània. Forma part del Parc regional del Matese i de la comunitat montana del Titerno.
Està situat sobre la vessant sud del Matese, englobat en l'antic territori Samnita de la tribu dels Pentris, avui a la línia divisòria entre Campània i Molise. A 20 km hi ha l'antiga ciutat romana de Telèsia en direcció sud, i a 30 km hi ha l'altra ciutat romana, Sepinum, a Molise, al vessant nord-est.
