L'IJsselmeer és un estany artificial dels Països Baixos, envoltat per les províncies d'Holanda septentrional, Frísia i Flevoland, fruit del tancament l'any 1932 de l'antic Zuiderzee mitjançant l'Afsluitdijk, que uneix el nord d'Holanda septentrional amb Frísia.Té una superfície de 1.100 km2. Situat en una zona deltaica, és molt poc profund: la fondària màxima n'és de 5,5 m, a Urk. És alimentat per, entre d'altres, l'IJssel i l'Utrechtse Vecht , l'Eem i l'Amstel.
