L'edifici ha estat concebut pel gabinet d'arquitectes John Dinkeloo and Associates i Kevin Roche, i la seva construcció va començar el 1987, per acabar-se el 1989.
Construït en un estil postmodern , l'edifici mesura 227 metres, i compta cinquanta-sis pisos, el que ofereix 160000 m² de despatxos al seu principal arrendatari, la Deutsche Bank. L'edifici havia estat de manera inicial construït per protegir el quarter general de JP Morgan Chase & Co, qui s'hi va quedar entre 1987 i 1989 abans de canviar a un nou edifici.
