Sankt Gilgen er en kommune i Salzburg-Umgebung-distriktet, i det salzburger Salzburgerland i Østrig. Kommunen ligger i Thalgau retskreds, har 3905 indbyggere og er blevet kendt som et sommerferieområde. Sankt Gilgen ligger 25 kilometer øst for Salzburg, 15 kilometer sydøst for Thalgau og 20 kilometer vest for Bad Ischl, og danner en østlige grænse til delstaten Oberösterreich. Kommunens område præges af Wolfgangsøen, Schafberg og Zwölferhorn.
