Gurktal Alperne er en bjergkæde i de centrale østlige alper i Østrig, opkaldt efter dalen ved Gurk-floden. Kæden strækker sig vest til søen Millstatt og øst til Neumarkter Sattel. Den højeste top er den steiriske Eisenhut. Kæden ligger mellem Mur-dalen i nord, som adskiller den fra de Niedere Tauern, og Drava i syd, hvor den grænser op til Gailtal Alperne og Karavanke-kæderne i de sydlige kalkstenalper. I vest når Gurktal Alperne op til Katschberg-passet og Ankogel-gruppen i Hohe Tauern-kæden. I øst adskiller Neumarkt-passet i Øvre Steiermark den fra de tilstødende Lavanttal Alper.
