Raeren er en tysktalende kommune i provinsen Liège i Belgien. Kommunen har over 10.000 indbyggere, hvoraf halvdelen har tysk nationalitet. Raeren er også navnet på hovedbyen i kommunen. Navnet Raeren stammer fra rydning og henviser til en bosættelse på et rydder område i Aachener Wald. Der kom to kerner: Neudorf, der første gang blev nævnt i 1241, og Raeren, der først blev nævnt i 1400.
