På pladsen står der forskellige træer med bænke, det er et 'hvilested' i byen. I midten af pladsen står statuen af Rubens. Den blev designet i 1840 af Willem Geefs og afsløret i 1843. Lige ved pladsen ligger også Vor Frue Kirke. Desuden er der forskellige caféer med terrasser.
