Allerede før 1300 var der tale om en vandmolle på dette sted. Omkring 1680 blev Demer omdirigeret, og denne overskudsmølle drev både en fuldmølle og en kornmølle. I 1761 blev bygningerne renoveret, og der fandt senere også adskillige ombygninger sted. I 1840 var møllen delvist lavet af træ, delvist af sten, og vandafstrømningen var sådan, at møllen fungerede meget rentabelt. Til sidst blev møllen kun anvendt som kornmølle.
