Sint-Annastrand ligger et stykke væk, men undervejs er der mange bænke til at nyde den fantastiske udsigt over Antwerps skyline. Byen ønsker at lave en 6 kilometer lang grøn gågade her. Bag marinaen passerer vi den kendte mølle.

“Den var en del af rekreativparken, der her blev etableret fra 30'erne. I den periode opstod Sint-Anneke Plaasj. Isbutikken The Plage var endestationen for et lille tog, Sint-Anna Express, der kørte Antwerpere fra tunnelen til Plaasj. Byen ønskede at udnytte Plaasj kommercielt, og den højeste budgiver, Emiel Draps, kunne få koncessionen.”
