Schildehof i Schilde er et århundredgammel slotdomaine med en bevæget historie og mange efterfølgende ejere. Af slottet er der kun grundmuren tilbage. I den tidligere køkkenhave til slottet er Dodoen-haven nu rekonstrueret. I denne have med sine renæssance-elementer findes de beskrevne urter. På den modsatte side ligger Bi-haven, en blomster- og insekthave hvor de forskellige bestøvningsteknikker bliver præsenteret. Bagest i parken kan man gå rundt i Heempark De Pont.
