Kapellet blev bygget i 1954 og består af hvidmalet mursten.
På dette bederum, helliget Vor Frue af de fattige, står nogle bænke bag et jernhegn. Udenfor er der også en stensittegruppe.
Det ligger på søster Clarastraat. Søster Clara (Ichtegem, 1870-1932) var aktiv i husmandsstederne og skolen "De Reiger". Der var mange sæsonarbejdere og franskmænd.
