Kilde til mineralvandet har været kendt siden tidernes morgen som Kilden ved Bois Notre-Dame eller Source des Dames.
Alexandre Matton organiserede den kommercielle udnyttelse af den naturlige mineralvandskilde i Arville, ejet af greven af Liedekerke siden 1911.
I 1920 blev der skabt en granatæble sirup, "Boum". I 1926 blev " Arville grenadine " og " Arville lemon " lanceret. Ved slutningen af Anden Verdenskrig blev den opkøbt af bryggeriet “Impérial”. "Arvilor" en appelsindrik, "Ma pomme" (i henvisning til sangen af Maurice Chevalier), "Peppermint" fuldender tilbuddet.
Reklameslogan var " For at forblive ung og subtil, drik vand fra Arville " (Po d'mêrer djonne è subtil, bêvoz d'êwe d'Arville).
Virksomheden 'Arville Mineral Sources' blev opfamlet af en bryggerigruppe i 60'erne og tabte derefter sit traditionelle lokale produkt. I 1971 lukkede 'Arville Mineral Sources' sine døre.
