Volketswil er en politisk kommune i Uster distrikt i kantonen Zürich i Schweiz. Til kommunen i Zürichs agglomeration hører byerne Volketswil, Hegnau, Zimikon, Kindhausen og Gutenswil.
Volketswil ligger i centrum af kantonen Zürich og er med 14,00 km2 den fjerde største kommune i distriktet efter Maur, Egg og Uster. Volketswil ligger i den øverste del af Glattal, ved porten til Zürcher Oberland, mellem Dübendorf og Uster, nord for Greifensee. Til kommunen hører byerne Hegnau, Zimikon, Kindhausen og Gutenswil. Volketswil ligger 12 kilometer i fugleflugt fra Zürich.
