Bad Salzschlirf er en kommune med kurbad i det østhessiske Fulda-distrikt. Stedstypiske helbredende midler er mineralbade, saltbade, mudderbade og mudderpakker. Frem til omkring 1985 blev badejorden hentet fra det Røde Moor i Rhön.
Bad Salzschlirf ligger i Fulda-sænkningen i 250 til 495 meters højde på nordøstsiden af Vogelsberg i dalen ved Schlitz, der dannes ved samlingen af Lauter og Altefeld.
