By Hornburg er en bydel i kommunen Schladen-Werla i Wolfenbüttel distrikt. Indtil den 1. november 2013 var byen en selvstændig by. Sammen med bydelen Tempelhof havde den 2464 indbyggere. Hornburgs befolkning nåede sit højeste i omkring 1950 med næsten 4400 indbyggere. I dag har Hornburg kun 2449 indbyggere.
Hornburg er fødebyen for den anden tyske pave Clemens II. Hornburg, der ligger ved floden Ilse, er en bindingsværkby og statsligt anerkendt ferieby.
