Quitzdorf am See er en saksisk kommune i Landkreis Görlitz. Kommunen, der hører til forvaltningsforbundet Diehsa, blev dannet i 1994 ved sammenlægning af to kommuner og fik sit navn efter landsbyen Quitzdorf, som måtte give plads til dammen Quitzdorf.
Kommune Quitzdorf am See ligger i den midterste del af Landkreis og grænser mod øst op til byen Niesky. Quitzdorf am See er tilknyttet det overregionale vejnet via Bundesstraße 156 mod vest, Bundesstraße 115 mod øst og motorvejen A4 mod syd. De nærmeste motorvejsafkørsler mod øst er Kodersdorf og Nieder Seifersdorf, og mod vest Weißenberg. Gennem kommunen løber jernbanelinjen Węgliniec–Roßlau med et stop i Petershain.
