Andernach er en by i den tyske delstat Rhinland-Palatinat, beliggende i Landkreis Mayen-Koblenz. Byen har 30.132 indbyggere. Byen ligger ved Rhinen, hvor den mødes med Eifel, i en kløft mellem Eifel og Westerwald, kaldet Andernachse Poort ved Rhin-kilometer 612.
I 1988 fejrede byen sit 2000-års jubilæum. Dermed tilhører den de ældste byer i Tyskland. Andernach er sandsynligvis opstået fra en keltisk bosættelse. Romerne grundlagde senere det fort Antunnacum på stedet. Byen ligger nær begyndelsen af den højre Rhinske Limes.
