I forvaltningfællesskabet Bad Dürrenberg i Saalekredsen var fire kommuner samlet for at udføre forvaltningsopgaver. Forvaltningfællesskabet havde været uændret siden 1992. Den 1. april 2006 kom kommunen Nempitz til forvaltningfællesskabet. Den 31. december 2009 blev Spergau indlemmet i Leuna, og den 1. januar 2010 blev Nempitz og Tollwitz indlemmet i byen Bad Dürrenberg, hvilket resulterede i opløsningen af forvaltningfællesskabet.
