Hachenburg er en by i Westerwaldkreis i Rheinland-Pfalz. Den er administrationscenter for den navngivne kommune, som den også tilhører. Hachenburg er et statsligt anerkendt rekreationssted og er udpeget som et mellemliggende center i den landsplanlægning.
Byen ligger i Westerwald mellem Koblenz mod syd og Siegen mod nord samt mellem Altenkirchen mod vest og Bad Marienberg.
