Püttlingen er en kommune i den tyske delstat Saarland og er en del af Regionalverband Saarbrücken.
Püttlingen har 18.318 indbyggere.
Püttlingen var i det 14. århundrede i besiddelse af herrerne af Forbach. I 1464 fik Filips af Sirck det som len fra prinsbispedømmet Metz. Lenet blev i 1648 overført fra prinsbispedømmet Metz til hertugdømmet Lothringen. Hertugerne overlod i 1681 stedet til herrerne af Kriechingen. I 1766 gik lenstyret fra Lothringen over til fyrsterne af Nassau-Saarbrücken, som også købte ejendommen i 1778. Kommunens våbenskjold viser to felter af greverne af Kriechingen og et af greverne af Nassau.
