Verl [fɛʁl] er en by i den nordøstlige del af Nordrhein-Westfalen, som ligger 15 kilometer syd for Bielefeld. Den middelstore by med omkring 25.000 indbyggere tilhører den østvestfalske kommune Gütersloh i det regionale distrikt Detmold.
Kommunen Verl blev dannet i 1970 ved sammenlægning af flere dele af de fem kommuner i Amtet Verl. Besættelsen af det nuværende byområde i Westfälische Bucht blev første gang skriftligt dokumenteret i 1088. Verl blev den 1. januar 2010 hævet til en mellemkommune.
