Altdöbern er en kommune i Landkreis Oberspreewald-Lausitz i den sydlige del af delstaten Brandenburg og er både en del af og administrativt centrum for Amtet Altdöbern.
Altdöbern ligger i Niederlausitz, omgivet af de lokale samfund Großräschen, Bronkow, Calau og den nyligt dannede kommune Neu-Seeland. Mellem Altdöbern og bydelen Pritzen ligger den 1016 hektar store Altdöberner See, der er dannet ved oversvømmelse af den tidligere åbne kulmine Greifenhain. Inden 2021 skal oversvømmelsen af søen og rekultiveringen af landskabet være afsluttet for at skabe et nærområde til rekreation.
