Hainewalde er en saksisk kommune i Landkreis Görlitz. Den ligger tæt på den tysk-tjekkiske grænse og tilhører forvaltningfællesskabet Großschönau-Hainewalde.
Kommune Hainewalde ligger i den sydvestlige del af Landkreis. Den ligger cirka ti kilometer vest for Zittau i forlandet til Zittauer Gebirge og gennemstrømmes af Mandau. Den grænser mod syd til Breiteberg, som ligger foran Zittauer Gebirge, og som betragtes som Hainewalds lokalbjerg.
