Rheingau-Taunus-Kreis er en kommunal enhed med 187.229 indbyggere i regeringsområdet Darmstadt i Hessen. Hovedbyen er Bad Schwalbach, og to administrative afdelinger findes i Rüdesheim am Rhein og Idstein. Kommunen blev dannet i 1977 fra en sammenslutning af Rheingaukreis og Untertaunuskreis. En bemærkelsesværdig ting er, at hovedbyen Bad Schwalbach er den syvendestørste kommune i forhold til indbyggerantal i kommunen. Den mest befolkede by i Rheingau-Taunus-Kreis er Taunusstein.
