Oberharz am Brocken er en by tilhørende en kommune i Landkreis Harz, Sachsen-Anhalt, som blev grundlagt den 1. januar 2010. Den blev dannet ved den frivillige sammenlægning af byen Elbingerode og kommunerne i forvaltningsfællesskabet Brocken-Hochharz. Forvaltningskontoret ligger i bydelen Stadt Elbingerode. Byen med bydelene Benneckenstein, Elbingerode, Elend, Königshütte, Rübeland, Sorge, Stiege, Tanne og Trautenstein har siden 2015 været en statsligt anerkendt feriested.
Sammenlægningen fandt sted i lyset af kommunereformerne i Sachsen-Anhalt og den deraf følgende opløsning af forvaltningsfællesskabet Brocken-Hochharz til fordel for en enhedskommune. Områdeændringsaftalen blev underskrevet den 25. juni 2009 af repræsentanter for stederne på en båd på Rappbode-dæmningen.
