Schaumburg er en højbjergborg i området omkring byen Rinteln i Landkreis Schaumburg i Niedersachsen. Borgens navn, tidligere Schauenburg, hviler sandsynligvis på den vidt udsigt over Wesertal. Den giver navn til familien af greverne von Schauenburg og Holstein og det Schaumburgske Land, hvis vartegn borgen har været siden det 13. århundrede. Landkreis Schaumburg bærer derfor næsselbladet fra greverne von Schaumburgs våbenskjold i sit våben.
