Deister-Süntel-dalen ligger i det nordøstlige Weserbergland i Niedersachsen mellem bjergkæderne Bückeberg Süntel og Deister i kommunerne Schaumburg og Hameln-Pyrmont.
I modsætning til hvad man kunne forvente ved et kig på kortet strækker Deister-Süntel-dalen sig ud over området omkring Süntel mod nord ind i Rodenberger-mulden øst for Bückebergene og Auetal og mod syd til Hachmühler-bækken med den lille Deister mod øst, hvilket giver en længde på cirka 25 km.
