Ulykken med svævebanen i Wuppertal fandt sted den 12. april 1999 på svævebanestrækningen nær svævebanestation Robert-Daum-Platz. Fem personer mistede livet, og 47 blev alvorligt såret, da vogn 4 af typen GTW 72 afsporede. Det er den mest alvorlige ulykke i Wuppertal svævebanes historie og indtil nu den eneste med dødelige følge.
