Bygdas hjemlandshus Elte er et tidligere hus for hejerne fra gården Willer-Eßmann i bøndernes samfund Heine. Formodentlig bygget midt i det 18. århundrede ved brug af gammelt træ som hejerhus, er det det sidste bevarede hejerhus i vores landsby.
Hjemmeselskabet Elte købte det i 1982 og satte det i fire års arbejde tilbage til den originale tilstand fra det 19. århundrede i midten af landsbyen Elte.
Med ny livlighed i det landsbyfællesskabelige og kulturelle liv skal det medvirke til at bestemme fortid, nutid og fremtid for landsbyen.
Baggårdshus
Et tidligere baggårdshus fra gården Lampe i bøndernes samfund Heine står lige ved siden af bygdas hjemlandshus. Bygget omkring 1850 blev det i 1984 erhvervet af hjemmeselskabet Elte og genopført i sin gamle form.
Håndværksmæssigt er det en enkel, men velproportioneret, tidligere landbrugsbygning i original tilstand. Baghus er et mindesmærke for landsbyen Elte.
