Integreret i kommunen Tierra de Mérida - Vegas Bajas ligger den 35 kilometer fra provinsens hovedstad og 28 kilometer fra Mérida. Den kommunale jurisdiktion krydses af motorvejen Autovía del Suroeste A-5 mellem pK 362 og 373. Reliefet i kommunen bestemmes af den lave nederlandske vega af floden Guadiana, der krydser den fra øst til vest i nord, mens landsbyen ligger på venstre bred, på en bakke der når op til 253 meter over havets overflade. I syd løber floden Guadajira, der kommer fra Tierra de Barros. Kommunens højde varierer mellem 280 meter og 180 meter ved udløbet af floden Guadajira.
