Salle Le Peletier eller Lepeletier var hjemsted for Paris Opera fra 1821, indtil bygningen blev ødelagt af brand i 1873. Teatret blev designet og konstrueret af arkitekten François Debret på stedet for haven til Hôtel de Choiseul på rue Lepeletier. På grund af de mange ændringer i regering og ledelse i teatret's eksistens havde det en række forskellige officielle navne, hvoraf de vigtigste var: Théâtre de l'Académie Royale de Musique, Opéra-Théâtre de la Nation, Théâtre de l'Académie Nationale de Musique, Théâtre de l'Académie Impériale de Musique, Théâtre Impérial de l'Opéra, og Théâtre National de l'Opéra.
