Aubeterre-sur-Dronne er en sydvestfransk kommune med 347 indbyggere, der består af hovedbyen samt tre landsbyer og nogle eneboliger, beliggende i départementet Charente i regionen Nouvelle-Aquitaine. Stedet er klassificeret som et af de "Smukkeste Landsbyer i Frankrig". Aubeterre-sur-Dronne ligger ved floden Dronne i den sydligste del af départementet Charente i en højde på ca. 45 til 90 m. Stedet ligger ca. 50 km syd for Angoulême; byen Périgueux ligger ca. 52 km østfra. De seværdige nabobyer Saint-Aulaye og Chalais ligger henholdsvis ca. 10 km syd og 12 km vest. Klimaet er tempereret; regn falder jævnt fordelt over året.
