Chamberet er en fransk kommune med 1388 indbyggere i departementet Département Corrèze i regionen Nouvelle-Aquitaine; det tilhører arrondissementet Tulle og kantonen Seilhac-Monédières. Siden 1989 har der været et kommunevenskab med Schillingsfürst i Midtfrankfurt. Navnet på stedet nævnes i den historiske litteratur, især i forbindelse med det lokale hertugdømme, i adskillige let afvigende stavemåder såsom Chambret, Chambaret, Chambré og andre. Navnet skal ikke forveksles med baroniet Chabenet, som periodisk var underlagt den samme adelsfamilie, Pierre-Buffière.
