Dole er en kommune i Jura-afdelingen i Bourgogne-Franche-Comté-regionen i det østlige Frankrig, hvor den er en underprefektur. Dole var hovedstad i Franche-Comté, indtil Louis XIV erobrede regionen; han flyttede parlamentet fra Dole til Besançon. Universitetet, grundlagt af hertug Philippe le Bon af Bourgogne i 1422, blev også overført til Besançon på det tidspunkt.
