Pontoise er en kommune i de nordvestlige forstæder til Paris, Frankrig. Den ligger 28,4 km fra centrum af Paris, i "den nye by" Cergy-Pontoise. Pontoise er den officielle præfektur for Val-d'Oise-départmentet, selvom præfekturbygningen og administrationen, såvel som departementrådet, faktisk ligger i den nærliggende kommune Cergy, som betragtes som de facto hovedstaden i Val-d'Oise.
