Ruten forbinder Normandie med Ardenneroffensivet ved Bastogne. Den komplette rute er optaget på Routeyou som en motorvej med navnet Voie de la Liberté og som en cykelrute med forlængelse til Nederlandene (Wageningen) i ti dele med navnet VDLAV (voie de la Liberté à vélo).
