Porthmadog), kendt før 1974 i en angliciseret Portmadoc-form og lokalt som "Port", er en walisisk kystby og samfund i Eifionydd-området i Gwynedd og det historiske amt Caernarfonshire. Den ligger 5 miles øst for Criccieth, 11 miles sydvest for Blaenau Ffestiniog, 25 miles nord for Dolgellau og 20 miles syd for Caernarfon. Samfundets befolkning på 4.185 ifølge folketællingen i 2011 blev anslået til 4.134 i 2019. Den voksede i det 19. århundrede som en havn for lokal skifer, men da handelen faldt, fortsatte den som et shopping- og turistcenter, tæt på Snowdonia National Park og Ffestiniog Railway. Den nationale Eisteddfod blev afholdt der i 1987. Det omfatter nærliggende Borth-y-Gest, Morfa Bychan og Tremadog.
