Istriska halvø er den største halvø i Adriaterhavet. Halvøen ligger i nord for Adriaterhavet, mellem Trieste-bugten og Kvarner. Halvøen deles af Kroatien, Slovenien og Italien. Den største del tilhører Kroatien, primært Istrien Amt (kroatisk: Istarska županija, italiensk: Regione istriana) og i mindre grad Primorje-Gorski Kota Amt (kroatisk: Primorsko-goranska županija). En lille del i nord for Istrien tilhører den slovenske region Primorska. Her er de kystbyer og havnebyer Izola (Isola), Piran (Pirano), Portorož (Portorosa), Ankaran (Ancarano) og Koper (Capodistria), hvoraf Koper er den eneste erhvervshavn. Kommunen Muggia (slovenske: Milje) udgør den italienske del af Istrien. Istrien tiltrækker traditionelt mange turister. Berømte personer som Dante, Jules Verne, James Joyce og Robert Koch har besøgt området.
