Ercolano er en by og kommune i Metropolitan City of Naples, Campania i det sydlige Italien. Den ligger ved den vestlige fod af Mount Vesuvius, ved Napoli-bugten, lige sydøst for byen Napoli. Den middelalderlige by Resina blev bygget på det vulkanske materiale, der blev tilbage efter udbruddet af Vesuvius, som ødelagde den antikke by Herculaneum, hvorfra det nuværende navn stammer. Ercolano er et feriemål og udgangspunktet for udflugter til udgravningerne af Herculaneum og for opstigningen af Vesuvius med bus. Byen fremstiller også lædervarer, knapper, glas og vinen kendt som Lacryma Christi.
