Ter Idzard er en landsby i kommunen Weststellingwerf i den sydlige del af den hollandske provins Friesland.
Der er mistanker om, at der omkring 1100 allerede var tale om en fuldgyldig landsby, hvor Ter Idzard ligger nu, og at der allerede dengang var en enkel kirke eller en kapel til 150-200 sognebørn. Til oprettelsen af en egen kirke var der traditionelt 10 gårde nok til at stifte en kirke. På et senere tidspunkt skrives der, at der er 30 gårde i landsbyen.
