Jomfru Maria Kirke er det egentlige navn på denne kirke i Lienden. Menigheden i Lienden blev grundlagt i slutningen af det 11. århundrede. Den første reformed præst kom i 1582. Den nuværende kirkebygning stammer ligesom tårnet fra det 15. århundrede. I kirkens kor findes der vægmalerier fra samme periode. Den seneste restaurering er fra omkring 1980. På samme plads står overfor kirken den tidligere præstegård, en smukt hvidt pudset gård.
