Slussen er oprindeligt navnet på en stor sluse mellem bydelene Gamla Stan og Södermalm i Stockholm. Det er samtidig overgangen mellem Mälaren og Østersøen. Lige syd for Slussen ligger den hollandske ambassade.
I dag henvises der også ofte til det travle trafikknudepunkt. Knudepunktet har et dårligt omdømme blandt stockholmerne, og der er også tegn på, at kompleksets struktur forværres. Derfor er der planer om at renovere Slussen helt.
