Den russiske flod, lit. 'русская река', spansk: Río Ruso) er en sydgående flod, der dræner 1.485 kvadrat miles af Sonoma og Mendocino amter i det nordlige Californien. Med en årlig gennemsnitlig afstrømning på cirka 1.600.000 acre-fødder er det den næststørste flod, der flyder gennem det ni-amts Greater San Francisco Bay-område, med en hovedstrækning på 110 miles.
Den russiske flod udspringer fra Laughlin Range omkring 5 miles øst for Willits i Mendocino County. Den flyder generelt mod syd til Redwood Valley, derefter forbi Calpella, hvor den grænses op af U.S. Route 101, for at mødes med East Fork Russian River lige under Lake Mendocino.
