Das Palais Dietrichstein-Ulfeld befindet sich im 1. Wiener Gemeindebezirk Innere Stadt, Minoritenplatz 3 und wird seit Beginn des 20. Jahrhunderts als Ministeriumsgebäude sowie vormals auch als Nebenstandort des Bundeskanzleramtes genützt.
Zwei Vorgängerbauten kamen um 1753 in den Besitz von Obersthofmeister Graf Anton Corfiz Ulfeldt. Er ließ die beiden Gebäude vom Baumeister Franz Anton Hillebrand mit einer einheitlichen barocken mit klassizistischen Einschlägen versehenen Fassade versehen sowie einen großen Festsaal anlegen. Die innere Raumaufteilung in zwei Häuser blieb jedoch erhalten, sodass 1799 ein Teil durch die Polnische Kanzlei benutzt wurde und der andere Teil von Maria Beatrix von Modena-Este mit ihrem Gatten Erzherzog Ferdinand, des vierten Sohnes Maria Theresias, bewohnt wurde. In den folgenden Jahren wurde eine klassizistische Umgestaltung der Räume vorgenommen. Im Jahre 1853 kaufte Franz Josef Fürst Dietrichstein das Palais.
