Ausgewogenheit zwischen Anstieg und Abfahrt kennzeichnet diese Strecke, die ausschließlich über Asphalt führt. Herrliche Blicke über das Inntal erwartet Genussbiker auf dieser 17 Kilometer langen und als leicht eingestufe Mountainbike-Strecke.
Von Mutters radelt man auf der Straße Richtung Götzens. Erst durchquert man Neu Götzens, ehe man nach Götzens gelangt. Hier ist auch die einzige Abzweigung, die man vielleicht verpassen könnte. 150 Meter vor der Kirche muss man nämlich links Richtung Götzner Alm abzweigen, um dann gleich wieder rechts auf Nebenwegen nach Axams zu fahren (1 Stunde ab Mutters). Beim Kreisverkehr am westlichen Ortsrand nimmt man die Abzweigung nach Grinzens. Immer auf der Hauptstraße geht es durch Grinzens und auf einer etwas schmaleren Asphaltstraße bis ins Etappenziel nach Sellrain (1 Stunde ab Axams).
