Die bekannte singende Non, Soeur Sourire oder Jeanne (Jeannine) Deckers, liegt zusammen mit ihrer (lesbischen) Freundin Annie Pécher auf dem Friedhof von Waver begraben. Waver war auch ihr Geburtsdorf. Sie wurde sehr bekannt mit ihrem Lied "Dominique -nique -nique". Der Grabstein lautet J'ai vu voler son âme à travers les nuages aus "Dominique". Im Jahr 2009 drehte Stijn Coninx einen Film über ihr Leben.
