Anseremme liegt am Zusammenfluss des Flusses Lesse in die Maas. Neben der Landwirtschaft ist der Tourismus eine wichtige Einkommensquelle. Verschiedene Unternehmen bieten die Möglichkeit, mit einem Kajak von Gendron (12 km) oder Houyet (21 km) die Lesse hinunterzufahren. Im Süden von Anseremme, in Richtung Falmignoul, liegt das wichtigste belgische Klettergebiet Rochers de Freyr.
